- Barenaked Ladies frontman Ed Robertson escaped uninjured after crashing his Cessna 206 seaplane near Bancroft, Ontario. The other three passengers, including his wife Natalie, also miraculously escaped without injury. The Transportation Safety Board of Canada was unable to determine the cause of the accident but cleared Robertson of any wrongdoing.
