Description

Madonna launched her Sticky & Sweet Tour at Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, Wales, in support of the album “Hard Candy”. It was her first tour as part of her partnership with Live Nation and, after being extended into 2009, became the highest-grossing tour by a solo artist, with 85 concerts in 32 countries grossing approximately $408 million and attracting more than 3.5 million fans. The tour surpassed the previous record Madonna had set with her Confessions Tour in 2006.
