Billboard Hot 100 in
1962 with the million-selling hit “Johnny Angel”, died at the age of 82. At the height of her fame as a teen idol, she moved into film and appeared alongside
Elvis Presley in three films: Girl Happy (
1965), Spinout (
1966), and Clambake (
1967). In addition to other films, she also starred in the television series The Donna Reed Show from
1958 and in the series Coach alongside Craig T. Nelson from
1989. In

AS*H actor Mike Farrell, with whom she remained married for more than 41 years.
