- The Chainsmokers featuring American singer Halsey reached No. 1 on the US singles chart with “Closer”. The song remained at the top for 12 weeks and reached No. 1 in more than ten countries. It subsequently became the first song to spend 26 weeks in the Billboard Hot 100 Top Five and only the second in chart history to spend 32 weeks in the Top 10.
