A man from Nottinghamshire who sent threatening emails to S Club singer Tina Barrett was sentenced to six months in prison. Forty-one-year-old Steven Hindley showered the singer with roses, chocolates and teddy bears. When his messages went unanswered, he began threatening the group, including a possible sniper shooting. In one email, he begged Barrett to visit him at home and claimed that he was suffering from an incurable brain tumour and had only three weeks to live.
