During a routine medical examination in Gainesville, Florida, Bo Diddley complained of dizziness and nausea and was admitted to a local hospital, where doctors determined that he had suffered a heart attack. He was in stable condition and was released on September 1 after recovering. Just several months earlier, he had suffered a stroke.
