Paul Anka and Odia Coates began a three-week run at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 with „(You're) Having My Baby“. The song was Anka's 24th U.S. Top 40 hit, reached No. 6 in the U.K., also topped the Cashbox Best Sellers chart and later received a gold certification from the RIAA. Despite condemnation from feminist groups, it reached the top of the chart.
