Description

Survivor byli na 1. místě britského singlového žebříčku se skladbou „Eye Of The Tiger“, titulní písní filmu „Rocky III“, kde zahájili čtyřtýdenní pobyt na vrcholu. Po šesti týdnech na 1. místě v USA se skladba dostala na vrchol britského žebříčku. Byl to jejich jediný hit na 1. místě ve Velké Británii. Za skladbu získali Grammy za nejlepší rockový výkon.

    Survivor filed a lawsuit against TVT Records after the label released a soundtrack to the television show “Survivor”. Survivor guitarist Frankie Sullivan said it was unfortunate that, after 23 years of building, promoting and protecting the group's name, someone could come along and release a recording using it.
