Singer and songwriter Dolores O'Riordan was born in Ballybricken, County Limerick, Ireland. She became famous as the lead singer of alternative rock band The Cranberries, who had the 1994 hits "Linger", "Dreams" and "Zombie". O'Riordan died unexpectedly on January 15, 2018, in London, where she was attending recording sessions.
