Description

Eric Clapton recorded the guitar solo for The Beatles' "While My Guitar Gently Weeps", becoming the first major rock solo guitarist from outside the group to guest on a Beatles recording. George Harrison later said that Clapton's presence encouraged the other members of the band to try harder.
