Jamiroquai singer Jay Kay was banned from driving for six months and fined £750 after being caught driving at more than 100 miles per hour. At court in Perth, his lawyers argued that he needed his driving licence as a "release" from his demanding working life. The judge described his behavior as unacceptable. Kay admitted that he had driven at 105 mph on the A9 in Perthshire in February while overtaking.
