American singer, songwriter, guitarist and keyboardist Eric Carmen was born in Cleveland, Ohio. He was the singer of The Raspberries, with whom he had the hit “Go All The Way,” and as a solo artist became known for “All By Myself,” “She Did It,” “Hungry Eyes” and “Make Me Lose Control.” He died on March 11, 2024, aged 74.
