American singer-songwriter Gracie Abrams was born in Los Angeles, California, to director J. J. Abrams and producer Katie McGrath. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she began building a fan base through livestreams from her childhood bedroom on Zoom. After releasing her debut album “Good Riddance” in 2023, she performed as an opening act on Taylor Swift's Eras Tour. In 2024, she had the UK No. 1 single “That's So True” and the US Top 20 hit “I Love You, I'm Sorry”.
