Peter Frampton began his tour in Boston, three days before the release of the album Frampton Comes Alive II. The album was released on October 10, 1995, and was a follow-up to his famous live album Frampton Comes Alive!
Peter Frampton spent his third week at No. 1 on the US chart with the album “Frampton Comes Alive!”. The album was later briefly replaced at the top by Fleetwood Mac’s album “Fleetwood Mac” before returning to No. 1 on September 11. The live version of “Baby, I Love Your Way” from the album reached No. 12 on the Billboard Hot 100. In 2017, Frampton told US lawmakers that 55 million streams of the song had earned him only $1,700.
