Description

Polydor Records released Cream's double compilation album "Heavy Cream" internationally, featuring "White Room", "Sunshine of Your Love", "Strange Brew" and other tracks from the band's back catalogue. Because UK buyers already had access to earlier compilations such as 1969's "Best of Cream", it did not enter the UK Albums Chart. The North American release was delayed until April 1973 and eventually peaked at No. 135 on the Billboard Top LPs & Tape chart.
