- The four-day 10th National Jazz, Blues and Pop Festival was held at Plumpton Racecourse in Sussex, England. Performers included Family, Groundhogs, Cat Stevens, Deep Purple, Fat Mattress, Yes, Caravan, The Strawbs, Black Sabbath, Wild Angels, Wishbone Ash and Daddy Longlegs.
