- American singer and dancer Carmit Bachar was born in Los Angeles, California. She became best known as a member of the girl group The Pussycat Dolls. In 2005, the group had the US number-two and UK number-one hit “Don't Cha” with Busta Rhymes and became only the fourth girl group to enter the UK chart at number one with its debut single.
