- Paul and Linda McCartney, along with Wings drummer Denny Seiwell, were arrested backstage at Scandinavium Hall in Gothenburg, Sweden, for possession of marijuana. Earlier that day, the McCartneys had collected a package addressed to Seiwell at the hotel that contained marijuana. They were released after paying a fine, and the tour continued.
